Thanks for the thought. When we run the procedure with the same parameters that failed on the scheduled job, it works. So it's not a data problem....

Thank you for the advice. Since I am not really comfortable using DBCC PAGE (although it sounds fun to play with on the backup) I'll start with testing extracting...
