Thanks for the suggestion but I was already using install broken up that way with this cluster so that apparently is not the issue.

I am experiencing the same problem. I have tried removing the piece recommended by Microsoft without success. I would welcome any other suggestions.

select @@version I knew but many of these boxes I don't have access to.  I am expected to be able to list which are SQL Servers and which are MSDE...
