I agree. Create a temporary folder just as a test, then copy one of the template files into it. Repoint Query Analyzer to that temp folder and refresh the pane.

Also in Tools/Options, check to make sure the Template File Extension is set to "*.tql" If not, change it to that and refresh the Object Browser pane.

Off the top of my head, I don't really know of a way to get what you're looking for. However, I've seen sp_depends give me the "incorrect" results you're talking...

Adding a field to use as a sort key is not an option. This is an existing database with about 2 years' worth of data in it.
