Hi,
I added the check constriants as a soluation in other articles...But not solve the issues.

It create a dead lock between re-index table and update or select table.
but you can reduce the load to change the DB to simple recorvery mode first and after re-index...

I also tried the bulk-logged recovery. But it increases the log file size and reduce the performance of re-indexing.
Really there is a risk. If server down after re-index and before...

In sql 2008, where i can see the lock/process information.
Only way is to use sp_lock or any better way to view it

Hi Ali,
Errors was in SQL 2008 and i Install Service Pack 1 in Sql 2008.
My Sql 2000 have Service pack 4 and i took backup from Sql 2008 service...

Thanks ..Now the 2000 Db restored in Sql 2008.
The issue was service pack. After i apply the service pack 1, it restore the db in sql 2008.

Dear Nakul,
The file are restored in the folder and it is same size of the DB file and logfile.
The folders are not compressed one.
