Yes- I've tried but the transactions don't complete - I was hoping that using named pipes may solve this issue - Mark

Called our friends at MS - they said SSCE is no longer suppported and was never tested with SQL2000 - that was the end of that.
I guess new CS is...

I've tried to copy it from 2000 client, from sql7 you can't even connect to 2000.

I've tried to copy it back using DB Wizard but got an error message - saying that it requires sql 8.

They are not connected - FTP is the only access I've

All insert/updates will be done at the ISP via a small application that I'm having designed. Since I'm on a shared server I don't think they would give me permission...
