yes i had gone through all of those blogs, but unfortunately none of those work.. the DBCC OPENTRAN is still showing the same info.

yes that is TRUE. so you can search for alternate methods, like there are many custom SP's which do the same thing as the sp_lock.. Or Create another sp_lock SP...
