I got your point and it's true that we can connect to SQL Server 2008 from SSMS of SQL 2005 but we cannot manage it.

I have resolved this issue as below:

Provided the Browser service account Local\NetworkServcie in template.ini (which will exist in the SQL Server setup media)

5.Manually copy over and restore (WITH NORECOVERY) all transaction log backups generated...
