Thank you for advise, but could you be more specific of the steps:
1. full backup, move that, restore it.
2.Do a differential backup, move that , restore it.

So from reading all the comments, as far as I understand, varchar doesn't reserve space.
The varchar takes storage space, but is not taking storage space if varchar is null...
