I looked into this a while ago and in the end I could only influence the displayed width of non-multivalue drop-downs. If you find an answer let me know!

Another way is to setup all the columns in the report but give the user a multi-value parameter to choose which columns they want. On the basis of their choice...

I'm using SP2 and my screen has an extra tick box, 'Quote strings contain list separators when saving .csv results' under Results to Grid.

When defining the group, you need to use an expression, something like:
=iif(Parameters!Company.Value = '"[ALL]",1,Fields!Company.Value)
The content of the group header should reflect this too.

Yes, there doesn't seem to be a way round it for 'cascading parameters'. However you can stop the screen refresh for date parameters, by setting the default value to another...

You need to use a table, not a matrix, and set the number of columns to, say, 3.
