I went back and deleted the Maint Plan and recreated it from scratch. Now both the Maint Plan History and associated Job History look fine...no errors:crazy:

I installed SQL Server 2005 SP3 and now I'm able to create subplans. Thanks to all!!

I was also successful today in deleting a Maintenance Plan and associated jobs in one step. Cannot replicate the problem I was having before. Anyway, thanks for replies.
