well i guess im screwed becuase i have the .ldf files but the .mdf files are gone. and there aren't any backups of them.

I have used these CD's called Learning SQL Server they are ok and depending on which version of SQL server you use, but I have been looking at this book...

If I wanted to attach a database name Chicken what would be the statement
sp_attach_db @Chicken = N' <Chicken, Server Name, Chicken Data>,

i saved my database files and logs and then reinstalled SQL Server on a different drive still on the same server and put the files back in the data folder...
