Yes, we heard back from HP. There is a BIOS setting, seems this server comes shipped on economic mode.
Power Profile = High Performance.
This fixed everything, its like the server...

Do you see any thring wrong with this query? This is the one I have been testing, runs 10 times faster on x32.
SELECT COALESCE(customer_credit_history.company_id, v_current.company_id) company_id

I do not think that is the issue, these are queries that are run by our ERP.

Currently we have Windows 2008 with SQL 2008 (all x32) on one server and Windows 2008 R2 and SQL 2008 R2 on the other.
The x32 server is running so much...
