Did you ever get your SSIS to connect? I'm having the same problem with a cluster server on the second node and will not connect.

I see my problem. The statement is incorrect. It should be:

The ResultSet property is set to: None.
I even tried to put the sql statement in the Expression as a "SqlStatementsource".
