Yes, that is very helpful especially if I have to go the route of scripting it all.

I just had a developer who had this same issue.
Turns out he was trying to open a SQL 2008 database with SSMS 2005.
He opened up SSMS 2008 and the problem...

The way that I'm doing it currently is to save the template out on a network share and then have them copy it to that location locally.
