I was able to figure it out.

In the Sql Server Configuration manager I needed to change the startup to the agent.

thanks, updating to the same sp worked.

1- Create a variable

2-Sql task = select max(id) from tbl_1  as id

3- I set the result set paramater to single row

5- I go into result set, create a result...

forget about this I got it.

I dont have that.

I have: Breakpoints, Watch, Locals, Call Stack and Threads.

All I see in there is

"Package execution completed, Click here to switch to design mode"

Thats right. We can think of the fiscal as a counter and it resets itself when a new month is reached.

Using the "FROM" and "TO" date, I want to select all the dates in the dates table that fall in that range.

"FROM" value 1/1/2005, "TO" value 1/31/2005 then increase the day...

But when I try to create a new sql mail task it still gives me the same error.
