I just encountered this issue with Maintenance Cleanup Task

Error messaeg:

Executing the query "EXECUTE master.dbo.xp_delete_file 0,N'',N'bak',N'2009-06-16T14:19:14'

" failed with the following error: "Error executing extended stored procedure: Invalid Parameter".

dbcc ckeck

full backup

update stats

index rebuild

do stats and index rebuild have to be done every night in your opinion ?

Just an FYI:

SQL 2005 Database Maintenance plan error: Value of 'DD/MM/YYYYHH:MM:SS' is not valid for 'Value'. 'Value' should be between 'MinDate' and 'MaxDate'
