We get no error ... just suspect databases. We can backup a database from one system and restore to another on another server with no problem. Our ODBC is ok...

I've got it running but it is slow. While ops is running tape backups of pervasive I get noting out of it but a 94 lock message. Any idea why? ...

Pervasive is an SQL database accessed via ODBC Connections.
How long is it hanging? Hours ... eventualy starts ... then hangs again after 1.2 million records of 5 million expected...

When I look at the process initially is shows sleeping and:

The package is copying 2 fields from an ODBC data source.

My systems administrator cleared and saved the event logs. Since then the problem has not reoccured.

Questions 1-3 really were a bit off the mark. Question/stmt 4 hit the mark. It is disk corruption where SQL hits EMC.

I found the PRINT statement. Why would that cause the error I received? I took the print out and things run fine now.
