I think you need to actually determine how many items are in a pattern.

1. Sysadmin will always have the ability to know everything in the database. Data & Schema. That is what makes it SysAdmin.

You should be very forward about how you're setting up the database server.
You should also have the various possibilities spelled out in the agreements between both parties.
