i wouldnt use PRINT to test it, it doesnt handle NULL's well.
And dont run every option in the same pass, it will muck up your results. If you want...

SET ANSI_NULLS OFF
the reason it is not recommended is because as the name of the variable suggests, you are turning off an ANSI standard which can lead to compatibility...
