Just an update, found the cause...was pretty basic :-(( The filesystem is Fat32... thus... max filesize 4GB....

Hi,
Have a look at http://www.sqldts.com They have a utility called DTSBackup 2000. maybe this does the trick.

This is indeed likely user rights. When run trough the wizard it uses the access right of the user setting up the DTS
