If the problem is that you cannot see the whole error, then in the Execution Results or Progress tab right click the error and copy then paste it into notepad...

If the source name is not available outside the event handlers, why not create a handler in the On Pre Execute with a script task to take the source name...

I am not clear on exactly what you are trying to do but have you tried using ReportItems to gather your values for the total?

Unless you simply embed the text in the report, no. You would have to build some sort of custom application (ASP.Net) to deal with a disclaimer as you describe.
