Thanks, I was concerned about the 2GB memory restriction with Windows standard edition.
Ultimately, I want SQL 2005 to be able to address all the RAM in the machine.

Yes I did.
The solution is to go to connection properties and re-enter the password for each registered server.

Yes, move the application to a different physical new server.
We usualy keep the old server around for a week in case of any major issues.

Do you run user database integrity checks through SQL maintenance plans or through scripts?
I guess scripting is a work around to not installing the critical patch 3054 (KB934458)

We are using a maintenance plan. I think the issues is the SP2 release. I think I need the hotfix to correct the maintenance plan bug.

I just installed per vendor request Windows only authentication for SQL 2005. I no longer have access to 'sa' user.
Is there a way to change the authentication without re-installing?
