Actually i need to configure linked server in SQL server(SERVER1) which doesn't have oracle client. Instead of installing the oracle client in the SQL server(SERVER1), i had another SQL server...

It is a recurrent process.

Initially it has 960 records to be transfered.

If using SSIS package can we get the new transactions logged to SQL server to the ORACLE server.

Hi,

In general you can start with gathering info about the number of servers, instances, applications and version, backup-recovery model of ur environment. And then u can dig from there.
