I take it you would have mentioned if you had changed your setup in Adobe, so the next question is what version of Adobe Writer are you using?

Just try changing the credentials to a sql server login and password as a test, that is of course if your sql server is in Mixed mode Authentication.

It's version 2000 that is opening the excel file after downloading it from the remote server, however its 2003 on the server thats creating the report - Hmmm looks like...

Unfortunately this Reporting Service install is for users who wouldn't know what a csv file is, let alone saving it to disk and then opening it in excel later....

In my oppinion I would want the least amount of data coming down the line so I would try using a query using the isnull function or a stored procedure.
