Wow here I thought 2008 was only BI stuff .....we have a few 2005 clusters ect but the rest of the enviroment is 2000 - all our consolidation servers ect...

SQL doesn't keep these changes in a log as such . You have to design a strategy that will keep the changes for you and when it occurs...

Just a quick one use the Db2 driver that comes with Microsoft host integration server , there are no limitations for instance the driver that comes with IBM or DB2...

What we have found was that when you users are from different domains and you have NT 4.0 domain controllers and windows 2000 Dc's, you cannot do 2 authentication...

If you query the table only using the 3 columns why would sql query all columns ?? doesn't make any sence what you are saying ..the query should perform fine...
