No, I had not generated a snapshot. I did so through the "View Snapshot Agent Status" by hitting start. Now I can see the SPs on the subscriber.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, the database has a lot of traffic and we don't want it to eat up the WAN bandwidth.
