I queried both kinds of servers and it returned the same values for each. I don't think that is referring to the instance auth method. Thanks for the info though,...

I am logged onto the server itself and I can open the ODBC wizard on the server and select the Oracle 10G driver. Thanks for the reply though!!

Does the login your Mssql server services run under have admin rights on the windows server?

Thanks for the suggestions. I was able to fix it by changing the reuseable property to 0 for the dynamic connection from disconnected edit session.
