I went for an interview there last week but I didn't have sybase and informix, nice place though and they seemed like nice people.

You need to configure SQL Server to use SQL Mail, configure and Operator with an email address and then in the notifications tab of the job in the email box...

Try using this in part of your script, I don't think you can have a colon (: ) in the file name, that might be the reason it's not working,...
