  • RE: The Other 90%

Another observation I've wondered about for years. Our country forged a nation from one coast to another and beyond.

Other countries (civilizations) have done similar but some, the ones we are...

    Before the laptop comes:

Need to be able to read first

    Need to eat before reading

Need to have shelter and clothes before reading

Need some type of economy to support eating and shelter...

  • RE: The Other 90%

I hope they did not do the following computation on one of those $100 laptops, else there will be big problems down the road:

" Of the worlds total population of...

  • RE: A Matter of Trust

I vote for the "pee in a cup" process. That's how one of my kids is earning money while going to college. Collecting samples (and no its not glamorous work...

  • RE: Mission Critical

Yep.  We use that server every fall hunt.  When the external rubber belt that turns the disk on the harddrive begins to fail, it squeals just like a cow moose...

  • RE: Mission Critical

Back in the old days, one was taught to have a good manual system in place before converting to a computer based system.

    Still applies today.

Recently, we went through an e-mail...

My post is not a shameless plug. I'll leave that to the shameless among us.

I'd say go for both days. In fact, fly out on the 26th with your family...

  • RE: Whoops

Ha! I have done the same thing. Sometimes you just can't fix it after hours because you need 3rd party support that is only available during "normal" hours. Better down...

  • RE: The Numbers Are In

I would concur with drnetworks comments.

We are a small shop (<50 users) so volume licensing is not a possibility or financially realistic.

Another topic to go with this is the...
