this usually happens when the owner of a database is dropped. Try setting
the owner of the database to an exisiting account or sa, using this command:
use
go
sp_changedbowner 'sa'
go

Hi,
The file "model.bak" you are mentioning here is the backup of model database i think.
The model.bak is available by taking a backup of model database.
