I had exactly the same error with my DTS which also contained a FTP Protocol task plus a Dyanmic Properties Task.

After much pain, I found (accidentally) that I had opened...

And yesterday we did try and install Microsofts' new OLEDB for DB2 connector and it straight away came up with "this is the wrong version of SQL........"

I went into that option SQL server Configuration Manager, in there under SQL Native Client Configuration are Client Protocols and in there should be VIA, right click and disable.
