this didnt work for me
i created the new db ... backedup the old one ... then tryed the restore on new db with the old db´s backup
the error said...

i have a local server conection with windows authentification
my agent has its own user in domain with admin priviliges
im still getting the same problem with the mantainance plans :crazy:

hi i was wondering about log size ....if my db size is 12 gigs what would be a good size for the log file ???
is there a best practice...

Clarification please - Are you trying to backup SQL 2000 databases on a separate server to a SQL 2005 server using 2005's SQL Management Studio/Maintenance Plans?
