The stored procedure would have to be declared with a default value for the parameter, then yes, you would not have to pass a value for it in.

How about a completely different solution!
Use SQL Compact with the Access front end. Synch the databases whenever possible. Just a thought =)

There are some reasons to drop and create, namely a time stamp on when it was created. Useful especially in environments that might have a less than perfect move...
