Which service pack are you on? Before SP2 the cleanup task would not correctly cleanup subdirectories.

Use the id for the table and select out of the syscolumns table for that ID.

Mapped network shares are not visible to SQL when running on Windows 2003. To restore from the network have to be done using UNC like Amit showed above.

how about using xp_cmdshell from an Execute SQL Task? Haven't tried that from within SSIS but....

ok assumming the DEV means a development environment, and PROD means a current production environment. Why would you want to overwrite your production environment with what you have in development?

You should only need to restart the instance of SQL server that needs a fresh tempdb. Not restart the server itself.

Try to restore with Continue_After_error, although I think the backup had to be made using the Checksum option to use it, so it might not be much help.
