I'm currently involved in a project converting several Access bases to SQL 2005, and we've found that the SSMA for Access that you can download from Microsoft has proved invaluable....

I created the tables, added the data, ran the query and got 2 identical result sets. Yes the QEP says they are sorted differently but that is not the question.
