I couldnt load the data from CSV file to SQL Table in correct format, some reason your script is not converting to .xls file?

If you have a third party tools you can do instant restore with less than 5 mins outage, no matter how big is the database.

since the log file is big, so all i need to change to simple recovery model and issue the truncate command to release the log space.

Disk space issue along the same lines i beleive backups will occur faster right since mdf file is reduced?
After shrink, fragmentation will be done....
Do i still see any advantages other...

Data is cleaned up from mdf file.so in order to get the free space to OS we need to shrinkdb right....
After shrink will it give any better performance?

I did backup the transaction log and ran shrinkfile with truncate only but it didnt release the space yet?
