One update: Consider that MSSQL won't allow a "truncate table <synonym>"...You'll need a work-around stored proc.

I'm 90% confident that the SPID was doing a rollback of the MS DTC transaction.
Normally, you'd see "rollback" as the status of the SPID that was doing the failed query....

The subscribers are mobile Windows CE devices...That sync at different times. I cannot run this proc on the devices....
