Why u need to copy articles from Subscriber to Publisher, already Publisher will push articles to subscriber?
How is your replication configured ?

I tested the same steps once again with the Port number : 587.
It worked like a charm. recieved mails from server.
Try with port : 587

Resolved the Issues...
Now am able to Backup to network and also able to restore from network path + overwrite..

I tried working with network folders and backing up the database to NETWORK path. It was succesfully backed up.

I think you can get some info from this table 1: MSsubscription_properties
&
2: MSsnapshotdeliveryprogress
progress_timestamp
datetime
The datetime value that indicates when a snapshot file was successfully delivered.
