YEE-HAA!!! THEY FIXED 2 MAJOR PROBLEMS TODAY!!!

  • Outstanding! Hat's off to the Developer(s) that fixed the two greatest PITA's (and I'm not talking bread) that the new SQLServerCentral.com has had since they brought up the new forum...

When you copy and paste to or FROM a code window now, all leading spaces AND CARRIAGE RETURNS ARE PRESERVED even if you just copy a portion of the code window!!!! :w00t:

Same thing for the non-code window stuff!!!:w00t:

AND, they didn't break anything... preview window still works perfect... edit still works perfect...

Hat's off to Steve Jones for pressing the issue on these two very major issues!!!

First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.

  • Make that 3... it looks like they also fixed the non-wrapping problem on long thread names!
