    master..xp_availablemedia

    gives me these results:

    NAME  LOW FREE     HIGH FREE   MEDIA TYPE

    C:\     -1283944448   0                2

    D:\     2031112192    1                 2

    E:\     -923271168     3                2

    So how much freee space I have on each drive?

    And what is HIGH FREE?

    Try this

    master..xp_fixeddrives

    But remember you need to have appropriate rights. I guess u already do.

    xp_availablemedia only gives u the details of the backup devices that are connected to the server. Which in this case happen to be the Disk Drives. To get the drive space u shud use

    xp_fixeddrives

    If you don't use it you loose it.
