I am new to XML reporting, hopefully this is the last!!
I need to process XML files in a folder on the file system (or network drive).
These are XML invoices.
Each XML file has to be processed and exported to PDF.
Also, an invoice can be viewed and then exported to PDF later.
Querying an XML file is... not working as I want it to.
XPath doesn't work here and I'm having trouble with the XML Data Provider.
Using parameters and filtering XML doesn't work - I am confused!
How do I accomplish this?
I have googled for ages, nothing helpful.
I find it surprising that you can't specify an XML file from the file system in SSRS 2005.
If I had to use a database, you wouldn't be seeing this post!!!
Any suggestions are welcome.
