I have a requirement to have all login events written to the Windows security log. I have looked at numerous articles and followed the steps outlined (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc645889%28v=sql.100%29.aspx) in the post. I still have not had any luck getting the results I am looking for. What am i missing? IS there a piece I have not addressed? I can see all the login failures in the application log but not the successes which is a requirement. I also need this into the security log!
Any help would be phenomenal!
Kindest Regards,
David

I am not much comfortable with Sql Audit feature. I would suggest to use native auditing (Properties->Secutiry-> Both failed and Successful logins)

I already have that. The requirement is to use the Windows Security event log.
