Working with Image data types.

    Hi,

    I am new to working with images and I have created a view that is being used in a Microsoft mail merge to populate a letter. One of the fields I need is a signature file that is stored as an image in a file. The database just stores the file name, that is waht is showing up on the letter. How would I get the image to display. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I think I'd start with the document that you are using for the mail merge and see if there is a setting that gets it to pickup the contents of the file. Otherwise you might have to import the files into SQL and present them in the view. I think the tools name is textcopy.exe, its been a while..
