The one that your supervisor does on you every year? To check if you are doing "Index Seeks" or just "scans" at your job? lol ...
I thought it was where they check your pulse and throw you a 1-3% cost of living increase?

Whoa!!! They go so far as to check your pulse? They just send us an email with our increase. Most years we get that email before they have actually added to our check (although one year I noticed my check increased and a couple weeks later got a notification that it happened).

This could come in the form of a sharp poke with a stick or rapid finger snaps or sending out an email saying the coffee machine is broken to see gets up to leave.
