This has to be something simple......
I created a login from a Windows AD group. I created a user based on that login in a given database. No one in that group can access the given database. What in the world could I possible be missing?
When I run an EXECUTE AS USER in the database for a user in that group, I get
"The server principal "xxx" is not able to access the database "xxx" under the current security context."
This is the same error the user sees when trying to use the DB in SSMS.
It's been a long day.......
TIA!

what is the default database for the user?
Also, what db roles have you added for the user/group?
