Windows Authenticated users in a new Domain post migration

    We are planning on migrating an application from a stand-alone server onto a 4 node cluster and I was wondering about windows authneticated users.  They are currently on the domain ABC and they will be on the domain OPP.

    What steps do I need to take to grant all windows authenticated users under ABC the same permissions under the new domain?

    So user ABC/pthomas becomes OPP/pthomas and I'd like to have all the same permissions.

    You probably want to script out what permissions ABC\pthomas has now into some text files. Don't forget to get the database user mappings, too. Then use an editor or a script to change ACB to OPP as appropriate. Although are you granting permissions based on individuals or based on Windows groups? Preferably, groups is the way to go.
