I was just wondering if anyone else is having trouble opening packages in VS BIDS 2008 on a Windows 7 64-bit machine? If open a package that a co-worker of mine developed on Windows Vista machine, I have to go in and "touch" the data sources and destinations to reset the connection managers. While trying to do this BIDS will close unexpectedly and then restart.
Any ideas?

Are your databases that these packages going against located on a centrally-located server? Meaning, do the databases reside only on your co-worker's machine? Or are they accessible by everyone in the organization?

We're in the development stage testing on our local machines. We each have copies of the production databases on our local machines and thats what the packages run against.

No I am not having problems with Windows 7 Enterprise x64 in two dell laptops using it for both new development and modifying existing SQL Server 2005 packages used for current production deployment.
