I backed up a couple dozen databases from a 2008r2 instance and restored to new SQL 2014 Std install. This includes TFS databases.
Scheduled jobs (on new instance) not running caused me to notice the time/timezone is incorrect. It is set ahead of my local time.
Will I cause problems setting the time back? How will scheduled jobs work if they've already run for a particular time? If developer Joe tries to check in something and the check in time is before the check out time, will that work?
I'll start googling, but I hope someone has already run into this?
Thanks,
Tom

Are they UTC?

By the afternoon, the server time had changed (IT Guys or synch'ing with something? I don't know). The time was correct for the timezone, but that was still wrong. The time was now behind my local time. So, late last night, I changed the timezone and everything is working fine that I know of.
Thanks for the reply,
Tom
