Why there is no SQLServer:BufferManager performance counter in windows performance monitor after installing sqlserver?

  Hi all,

  there is one strange problem.

  I have installed the sqlserver 2008 R2 on one windows 2008 server system, but I cannot find the SQLServer:BufferManager performance counter in windows performance monitor.

  there are only

  SQLAgent:Alerts

  SQLAgent:JobSteps

  SQLAgent:Statistics

  SQLServer:SSIS Service 10.0

  on the server's performance monitor.
