Why does interactive sorting close (hide) a row that was already toggled open (visible)?
Issue; In a table
I have 3 rows=category, subcat and detail
I have 3 columns = name, count and amount
Category row totals up for all subcat rows, subcat rows total up for all detail. Simple.
By defalt I only show the category rows at first with all totals at the category level.
I have the subcat rows hidden, toggled by category name.
I have the detail rows hidden, toggled by the subcat name.
I want to click on the category count cell to interactive sort the subcat rows. <-- issue to resolve
I toggle open (make viewable) the subcat rows based on clicking on the category name
Problem; once the subcat rows are visible and I click on the category count cell to resort the subcat rows, the subcat rows close (HIDE) and I have to make them visible again by clicking on the category name again.
Why does the interactive sort on a grouped total cell hide rows that were previously visible?
Thanks.

Hey Mate,
I experience the same problem and equally frustrated by it.
One thing i do now Is make the groups expanded now by default and remove the collapse/expand setting.
This will allow you to sort without it automatically collapsing - Just doesn't look as nice.
Good Luck.
